Armistice Day!

Kia Ora Everyone,

The 11th of November is 'Armistice Day'. For those who don't know what Armistice day is, Armistice Day marks the anniversary of the agreement that ended the First World War (1914 – 1918) and the sacrifice of those who died serving New Zealand. At exactly 11am on the 11^th day of the 11th month, Armistice Day, one-minute's silence is held and France stops and people pray and pay respect to those who fought and died for the freedom the country now has. Lest we forget and may the people Rest in love and peace.

How are you? - Oa mai oe? My Culture is Samoan 🇼🇸 and proud to be. In my presentation is just a little bit about me and my culture. Last Week, Me and My Class had an Inquiry Presentation about our own Culture and We're learning to Share about our Culture and Heritage. I think it's really important to learn about your own culture and where you are from because It can keep us from projecting values onto others and for you to understand why people do things the way they do. It's also a part of you that you need to keep strong. Hope you enjoy the presentation! 👍

Happy Diwali Wishes to everyone and hope you are all having a great week throughout this boring Lockdown. I've been posting a lot about Language Week's recently but this Celebration is a bit different.

What is Diwali? - It's an Annual Festival of Lights. It is held on the darkest night of the Hindu lunar calendar and ushers in new beginnings just before the arrival of the new moon.

What are your thoughts on Deepavali/Diwali? 🪔 or What have you learn't throughout this week about Diwali? 🪔

My Lockdown

How's your Lockdown? Tell me in the Comments below.

My Lockdown was fun and boring at the same time because I would get to play games and do art, but then I would have to do heaps of chores, so yeah. Me and my little brother have "HEAPS" of homework sent from the school (Well not for me).

Also, Today is March 5th and not long ago there was a Tsunami warning mostly for the people near beaches. It was Shocking just to see that a Tsunami is happening in NZ, like how crazy is that.

There you go "My Lockdown", It wasn't all that bad but that's it for Today and I hope you blogger's love my post.
