Hi Everyone,
I know it's really late to post this but here's some of the work I did but never got to post about in Term 3. If I had to explain, it would take an eternity so my work is below.

Greetings Bloggers,
Who here is bored in the house bored in the house bored? I'm literally tired of lockdown and can't wait to get out of my house. But on a serious note, Make sure to Wear a mask, Stay in your Bubble, Hand Sanitize/Wash your hands, Stay 2 feet apart, etc.
On Wednesday 17th of November, Wesley Intermediate will be going back to School. So far, my class only has like 3 students coming back and not sure about the others. Wesley Intermediate Students are required to Wear a mask, Wash your hands and/or Hand Sanitize and making sure students will get not too close to each other.
Yeah and . . . . . Make sure to get Tested or Vaccinated. You are not being forced and if you are against it is fine, it's just for everyone to keep safe.
Kia Ora Everyone,
The 11th of November is 'Armistice Day'. For those who don't know what Armistice day is, Armistice Day marks the anniversary of the agreement that ended the First World War (1914 – 1918) and the sacrifice of those who died serving New Zealand. At exactly 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, Armistice Day, one-minute's silence is held and France stops and people pray and pay respect to those who fought and died for the freedom the country now has. Lest we forget and may the people Rest in love and peace.
Malo Ni Bloggers 🇹🇰,
Sorry for the late Blog Post! On the 26th of October Our School (Wesley Intermediate School) had an Assembly Online. We were Celebrating Tokelau Language Week and had a Special Guests Join Us which is Fiona Lee and she is a Pharmacist. She gave us really inspiring Quotes and Steps for us to get to our goal. Every Class had a Presentation and below is our Class Presentation. It has what we did throughout the other language weeks. Feel free to Dance to the Music in this Presentation. Hope you like it 👍
Talofa lava Bloggers,
How are you? - Oa mai oe? My Culture is Samoan 🇼🇸 and proud to be. In my presentation is just a little bit about me and my culture. Last Week, Me and My Class had an Inquiry Presentation about our own Culture and We're learning to Share about our Culture and Heritage. I think it's really important to learn about your own culture and where you are from because It can keep us from projecting values onto others and for you to understand why people do things the way they do. It's also a part of you that you need to keep strong. Hope you enjoy the presentation! 👍
Namaste Bloggers,
Happy Diwali Wishes to everyone and hope you are all having a great week throughout this boring Lockdown. I've been posting a lot about Language Week's recently but this Celebration is a bit different.
What is Diwali? - It's an Annual Festival of Lights. It is held on the darkest night of the Hindu lunar calendar and ushers in new beginnings just before the arrival of the new moon.
What are your thoughts on Deepavali/Diwali? 🪔 or What have you learn't throughout this week about Diwali? 🪔

Kia Ora Koutou Katoa,
Today's Blog Post is about my Inquiry about my School Topic this Term which is Law and Order. I did a Blog Post about Topic Idea's, that was where I talked about Idea's for a Topic and Law and Order was a Topic I was looking forward to and Which was fun to learn about. I've used the 5 W's which are When, Where, What, Why and Who, etc to answer my Inquiry question - How do Police/Law Enforcement Protect Human Rights?
I learn't knew things I didn't know like that Human rights existed On December 10th 1948. A challenging part of this would be trying to find the real answer because some Websites would be a fake or something. Hope you guys enjoyed my Blog Post :)
Comment down below, What would you learn about by Connecting Law & Order into it? - (If that makes Sense).
Hello everyone,
Today's Blog Post is about my Research about the Country Ecuador. I've done one previously which was about Dominica and I wanted to Share with you guys What I did for the Country Ecuador.
I have formulated 5 Questions using the 5 W's which are (When, What, Why, Where and Who), An interesting fact about Ecuador is that Ecuador means "Equator" in Spanish and that Ecuador is the closest country to Space.
Comment down below, What country should I choose for the letter (F)?
Hey Bloggers,
Today's Blog Post is about my Research but it's about the country Dominica. I've been doing a lot of these Blog Posts and wanted to share with you guys What I did for the country Dominica.
I've formulated 5 Questions using the 5 W's (When, What, Why, Where and Who), An interesting fact about Dominica is that Dominica has the Second largest boiling lake in the world and a Challenging part for me was me Re-checking the Facts because some Websites would say this is True and others would say false.
If you had to pick a Country starting with the letter (D), What would it be?
Ki Ora Bloggers,
On Thursday 16th of September, Room 8, 9 and 5 did the Cybersmart Challenge 17: What is a Quality Blog Post? There were 4 Main Rules you should know when commenting which is, Greeting, Positive, Thoughtful and Helpful.
Here is Challenge 17: What is a Quality Blog Post that I've done!
Ki Ora Bloggers,
This Week is "Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori" and wanted to Wish everyone a Happy Maori Language Week. Of Course Celebrating "Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori" in Lockdown is not the best, Hope Auckland will move to Level 3.
After My Online Class, I've made a Pepeha so I could introduce myself in Te Reo and I've been learning "Why it's important to Celebrate our Culture". I'm not Maori but Growing up, I've always learn't Te Reo in Schools like the Alphabet, Numbers, Simple Phrases and more so it's kind of a bit easy for me.
Can you Introduce yourself in Te Reo or Te Reo Words you know?
Malo e lelei Bloggers,
This Week is Tongan Language Week so I wanted to share with you guys What Me, My Best Friend Sydney - Link and Room 5 - Link did for TLW, also Check out our Blogs and Students Blogs too. We made a Video of TLW by asking Students and Teachers to Introduce themselves in Tongan and to Answer Questions about the History of Tonga.
Shot Sofaia, Mrs Haioti and Mr Haioti for being in the Video!
Disclaimer: My Class didn't really make a Video of themselves because most of us are very Camera Shy including me, I also do not own any Rights to this Song - FEJOINT - Si'i Oto Loto [Official Music Video] and Editing App we used - WeVideo.
Here is the Video⬇
Malo e lelei Everyone,
Happy Tongan Language Week! This Week is TLW (Tongan Language Week) and recently me and my Class have been making Presentations and Video's about TLW by Introducing themselves or Sharing What they already know about it.
So far I have made a Presentation of TLW about Greetings, Simple Phrases, Days/Months and more. I have also Translated them so people could understand What I have written. My Presentation is not done so stayed updated with new creative TLW Challenges I have done.
Comment down below, What you have done for Tongan Language Week? - Malo Aupito!
Malo e lelei Bloggers,
Welcome to my Blog and Happy Tongan Language Week to everyone. We're all probably upset that we have to Celebrate Tongan Language Week in Lockdown, but Lockdown doesn't stop the fact we can't Celebrate. We are also going into Level 2 Tonight at 11:59 PM which is very exciting.
My Class and I have been doing these Presentation's where you have to do 3 Activities each day on Google Slides and Which we all have to Learn, Create & Share our Learning. I'm not Tongan but I try to learn the Culture and Traditions about it, I've been learning Informal and Formal Greetings and Basic's like the Alphabet and Numbers in Tongan. We have a Tongan Language Week Assembly with the Whole School so stay tuned for that.
If you have reached the end, Thank you for Reading my Blog Post - Malo Aupito.
Fakaalofa lahi atu Bloggers,
On the 3rd of September, I've joined into a Google Meet with many Students and Teachers. The Google Meet was about "Cancer for Kids", So Teachers told us to join for something Special. There is a Boy in Mrs Haioti's Class (Room 2), and We found out his brother who was a former Room 2 Student had Cancer. Mrs Haioti was a Strong Woman doing a Selfless act by Shaving her hair, and also donated money to Kids with Cancer. Many Students and Teachers were Supporting her and giving her encouraging words including the fact people called her "Dwayne Johnson". I thought it was a Compliment and then Mrs Haioti started flexing on us with her Muscles.
Mrs Haioti had a NZ Sumo Wrestler to Judge who had the Wackiest Wig, The Most Creative and Realistic Wacky hair. William (Sumo Wrestler) had picked Mr Davis for Wackiest hair, Mrs Siaoloa for her Creativity of her Wig made out things at home, and Miss Thomas for most her Real Wacky hair.
We did Awesome Challenges like who can type this Sentence the fastest and got to get the Chance to Spin the Wheel if you had won! If you want to learn more about Kids with Cancer, Click on this link - Link
Comment down below, If you have done a Selfless act or What have you done to help others.
Hey Bloggers,
On September 1st, I hopped onto a Google Meet with my Class. We were Welcoming Teachers and Students from Class and a few Students from Rm 3 joined us halfway through.
Thanks to Mr Davis, Mr Sa, Mr Haioti and Mrs Walliss for joining the Google Meet.
Our Class was learning about Geometry and explaining What a Polygon, Vertex, Radius, Perimeter is and Drawing Diagrams of Shapes. We were also Solving Problems in BEDMAS using the Order of Operation Which was Brackets(), Exponents ⏨, Division ÷, Multiplication X, Addition +, and Subtraction -. I'd say the most challenging part was to find the Surface area around this Pyramid Diagram.

Hola Amigos,
Today's Blog Post is about another Research but It's about the Country named Colombia. If you didn't read my last Blog Post, I've also did a Research but it was the Country Belgium.
I've been formulating 5 Questions using the 5 W's, Well it's only about four because Instead, I have added Images of Flags and Celebrities you might know who are from Colombia. An interesting part for me was that Colombia was known for Specialty Coffee. Hope you enjoyed my Blog Post.
If you had to pick a Country starting with the letter (C), What would it be?
Hey everyone,
It is Part 2 of my Research between letters of the Alphabet, If you didn't see my last blog post make sure you check it out because it explains our Homework or Research System and how it works. I've also done one starting with the letter (A) and the country was Argentina.
The next letter was B so I had to formulate 5 Questions using the 5 W's based on the country I have chosen which was 'Belgium'. I've asked Questions for example, When was Belgium founded or Who is the Prime Minister of Belgium.
Hope you enjoyed my Blog Post, Comment down below - Which country would you choose starting with the letter (B).
Here is my Presentation down below!
Cómo estás Bloggers,
On the 23rd of August, I've had another Google Meet with my Class. I was Pretty happy because a lot more people turned up from my Class on the Google meet, not only my Class but thanks to the Student from Room 3 and the Teachers who've turned up.
I woke up by accident then I kept waking up at this point, it was like . . . . ummmm . . . .I was just too lazy to get up.
Each of us have been telling the whole class what we have been up to during this Lockdown and Interesting things that happened.
We have this System in our Research Homework when each week we would change letters in order of the alphabet and Research about the Country of the letter. We also have a Reading log and Spelling words but it excludes the letter system.
Comment down below, What's a Good👍 or/and bad👎 thing that happened to you during Lockdown?!😄
Hi everyone,
Today's Blog Post is about my Olympics Mini Inquiry, If you didn't see my other Blog Post about my Mini Inquiry then this is where I continued my work and made another Presentation about except it's kinda different because the Country I have chosen is Fiji and the answers are all different.
The reason why I've chosen Fiji because I have never done a Presentation about one of the Islands of French Polynesia or Oceania. Besides, My whole might of picked them massive Continents or Countries.
Here is my Presentation!
Talofa Lava Bloggers, Ummmm . . . . I really haven't been up to anything recently. We were watching the news and once we heard we were going into Lockdown, Everyone went to the Shops and cleared the shelves AGAIN, and more importantly Taking all the TOILET PAPER! 💯
I've just been waking up at 8:30am - 9:00am, eating breakfast and getting ready for my Google Meet session with my Class and Teachers. I just do Prototec as a warm up in the morning, Doing Homework, Talking to my friends on chat and Blogging! Also in my spare time I would just watch a bit of Anime and TV or Netflix Shows/Series with my Siblings sometimes.
Hope you guys are staying strong throughout this Lockdown! Kia Kaha! 💪
If you have reached up to this point, This is the end of the Blog Post. Thank you for taking your time to read this post even though you didn't have to. Blog you later!😄
Ki Ora, Ki Orana, Talofa Lava, Malo e lelei, Fakalofa atu, Konnichiwa, Annyeonghaseyo and Greetings to Bloggers,
If you saw It is the 2nd Part to the Google Meet this Term, If you didn't know NZ is in Lockdown but Auckland and Coromandel are in Lockdown for 7 days and the rest of NZ in 3 or 4 days.
Me and My Class started off the day with a Kahoot with our Teacher Aide Miss Thomas, It was about Brain Teasers and more. We discussing stuff about our Homework and were listing prizes for our spin the wheel (Our spin the wheel is for if we have finished our homework and get an award). Our Class also had a lovely day with the Teachers, Mr Sa, Mrs Haioti, Miss Thomas and Mr Haioti.
If you have any Questions, Comment down below!
Hey everyone,
Here's an update of my Homework that I've done so far, I've made a Journal log using Google Docs, The Manga I have read was "One Piece", While reading the Manga I have been answering questions about it like What is the Book about?, What was interesting about it? and so on . . . What I thought was challenging is really nothing to be honest because it's similar to what I do at school with my class when we do T-Shaped Literacy or other literacy tasks. Hope you've liked my Blog Post!😄
Greetings Bloggers,
On Thursday 19th August, We had our first Google Meet this Term from 9:30am - 10:30am. We had a lot of fun hanging out with each other and We were discussing What was going on at home, What we did during the Lockdown, etc . . .

Anyeonghaseyo (Hello) and Guten Morgen (Good Morning) Bloggers,
A few weeks ago, My Class and I have been learning about the Tokyo Olympics 2020 along with our Topic - Law and Order.
At the beginning of this Term, We have been making Presentations of Countries we have chosen. I've made 2 Presentations and the Countries I have chosen were South/North Korea and Germany. We have been doing some research about our countries and putting our knowledge we new into it.
Hope youse would like my Presentations 👍
Hey everyone,
I haven't Blog posted since last month and wanted to share with youse What I have recently been doing in Classroom. This is one of my tasks for my homework and it was to Research about a country starting with the letter - (A) and to formulate 5 Questions by using the 5 W's based on the country I've chosen.
The country I have chosen was 'Argentina' because I thought it would be interesting, and the obvious that it started with the letter - (A). I have done a couple of these tasks before at school and it was pretty fun, so I put together a Presentation about my Research of Argentina. Hope you enjoy my Presentation.
Ki Ora everyone,
Today's post is about "What Topic we should choose for Our School Inquiry?"
We as in My Class have been creating a Presentation about War this Term, and we have been coming up with Idea's for Term 3. We unfortunately have to do a Topic about "Law and Order from Room 2 - Link Which is still cool but My Class was really looking forward to a Student Voice of like the Whole School and the Majority would win but It didn't happen, but still glad to learn about it!😄 As you can see, the picture below is our Idea's that my class thought about and the Majority was OLYMPICS. Our final Topic by Room 2 is Law and Order and pretty excited to learn about What Laws are their around the World and How things work in other Countries?
Let me know, "What Topic should we do in Term 3 or 4?" or Let me know in the comments below "What you want to choose as a Topic?"
Here's some Idea's my Class thought about!
Hi everyone,
On the 2nd of July, I created this piece of Word Art using this app - Link. I decided to create one about (BLM) Black Lives Matter because I thought 2020 was a really bad year but some of the Most Important parts of 2020 was when the death of George Floyd happened and so finding the (BLM) fist reminded me of this, Feel free to learn more about this (Which you probably have last year). But more onto the Artwork now. The last time I did Word Art was when I was a Year 6 at Wesley Primary School, It was the first but I was really engaging into this type of art, There wasn't really a hard part when I did it.
If you did Word Art Digitally, What Websites/Apps do you Recommend for me to use? If you do it on Canvas/Paper, What Techniques that you think that is really great and should try?
Although, This is all for this Post, Thanks for Reading my Blog post and I Hoped you enjoyed it.
Hey Blogger's,
On the 1st of July We went to the Auckland Museum as a Trip to learn What happened during WW1 from 1914 - 1918 and also WW2. We sat down on an area and our Tutor (Aaron) asked us a lot of Questions for example, From What years did WW1/2 start? or How did the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand start WW1?
We got to wear What men wore back 100 years in War, We also found a lot of Weapons, Books, Hats, Propaganda Posters and even Old Food. I found this quite interesting because finding stuff that came from 100 years ago was pretty cool.
I'd say my favourite part would be Navigating and Controlling the plane because it was a game and I love games. The most fascinating Exhibition would be the Fossil Exhibition because their were things I never knew like the Moa 50 times bigger than me so now I know why it was extinct or the bones of a bat that were still there.
If you have been there or you were to be there, Tell me What is your favourite or most interesting Exhibition?
Comment down below if you have any questions :)
Hey Bloggers,
Last Week, We were Making Connections with our Prior Knowledge to What we read in the book. What my class read was about Nurses, Animals and Hero's that saved lives during WW1. The most important thing we were learning about was Nurses because Nurses have been saving a lot of lives but also risking their lives for Soldiers. We also have been learning about Soldiers a lot and what they did to survive and what they did to save their Country.
Our Teacher (Mr Edwards) asked us a lot of Questions like for example - What was care needed for?, What care was given?, What risks were involved?, What are some Connections with our Prior Knowledge and more.
If you ever read a Journal, Book or Movie, Use the Questions above or Think about What are some connections to What you already know.
Hi Blogger's,
Today My Class made Thank you Cards for the Nurses, Soldiers, etc, for supporting all the Soldiers in War. After Reading the text, We had to imagined that we were Soldiers and in my opinion, I think that the Nurses worked really hard because they only had 3 day's off and only have half day's leave. Just a Big Thank you to all the Nurses in WW1.
This is my Thank you Card that I made.
Hi Blogger's,
This Week and Last Week, My Class had to make a Presentation about War. I'm in a Group with Katana, Sydney and Payton - Check out their Blogs! We were thinking what other things happened during WW1, We just said Volcanoes for some reason but then we researched it, it was true and so we decided to do Volcanoes.
We wanted to make a Volcano and so just have a look at our Planning Below! It has What Mount Vesuvius is, Materials we need and the Method.
Hey Everyone,
On May 21st My Class did a 24 Hour Digital Footprint, We Define some words and find an online and offline example on Slide 2. We had to predict what the last 10 Sites that we were on then actually put on our last 10 Sites on Slide 3 and last but not least, Slide 4 was a Video from Phil Margetts on What we were supposed to do. I don't really think there was a Challenge for me because I've learn't Majority of this from my Teacher - Mr Edwards.
If you have any Question's, Tell me in the Comments Below!
Hey Blogger's,
Last Week in Room 5 We were Visualising What War was like. We had to get into our Focus groups, Read the Text and the Boss for each day get's to ask us Question's about the Text or Article we Read and Visualize it in your head or Write it down onto your Document. We also had to find Figurative Language, The 5 Senses, Descriptive Words and had to Write "What did we Visualize?"
If you have any Question's, Go to the Comments Below!
Here is a Image of My Groups Document -
Hey Blogger's,
Today's post is about Empathising with Character's, for example - Understand and Share feeling's of another.
Me and My Class Read Journal's and Watched Video's to understand the feeling of what they felt in the story. We learn't many things like the Spanish-flu and The 2009 Tsunami in Samoa. We had to find out why they were feeling that way and had to find clues about it. I'd say Me and my Groups Challenging part was What showed the Expression of what she what feeling that time.
Greetings Blogger's,
My Class this Term is learning about Civil War, Revolutionary War and others. Last month we went into our Focus Groups and Learn't about the Civil War between Israel and the Palestine. We had to find facts about the two cultures by watching video's, Going on Websites, Reading News articles and more. My Class also did a Debate on Who was right about How the War started and the Majority was on the Israeli's.
Tell me your Opinion between the Palestinian's and the Israeli's!
