Topic Idea's!

Ki Ora everyone,

Today's post is about "What Topic we should choose for Our School Inquiry?"

We as in My Class have been creating a Presentation about War this Term, and we have been coming up with Idea's for Term 3. We unfortunately have to do a Topic about "Law and Order from Room 2 - Link Which is still cool but My Class was really looking forward to a Student Voice of like the Whole School and the Majority would win but It didn't happen, but still glad to learn about it!😄 As you can see, the  picture below is our Idea's that my class thought about and the Majority was OLYMPICS. Our final Topic by Room 2 is Law and Order and pretty excited to learn about What Laws are their around the World and How things work in other Countries?

Let me know, "What Topic should we do in Term 3 or 4?" or Let me know in the comments below "What you want to choose as a Topic?"

Here's some Idea's my Class thought about!

Edit: BTW, We used Jam-board to write our ideas! (11/11/21)

  1. Hi Sina. Congratulations on getting the award of Blogger of the week. After reading your post I can assure you that your class will be doing the Olympics at the start of Term Three. As for the Law & Order subject, I am presuming that your class will look at police brutality, laws that the ancient Egyptians encountered, rules around the Olympics and possibly some learning around climate change, and humans destroying the planet. Have a well deserved holiday.

    1. Hi Mr Davis, Sorry for not Replying sooner. I'm so Thankful for getting Blogger of the Week of Term 2, Week 10, I've also been getting Blogger of the Week in My Class a few times already. I've been looking forward to see how Law and Order will go in Term 3.

  2. Congratulations Sina on being blogger of the week that's so cool 💯😁 awesome to see your classes ideas around inquiry topics for Term 3 and their contribution to kicking off our term inquiry studies with the Olympics. Although you mentioned in your post 'We unfortunately have to do a Topic about "Law and Order from Room 2'👀 (just to clarify the topic came from a collective of classes which linked nicely to LAW & ORDER the kind of topic that can take you in so many directions for example - What does Law & Order look like in Tonga compared to NZ? I also see one of the topics from your class was Police brutality and you also created a cool word art based around the BLM movement which both link strongly to each other and to LAW & ORDER. Just a thought - imagine what would Law & Order look like if NZ had a BLM movement? Was their any Law & Order during the Dawn Raids?) fortunately like all our classes Room 2 had lots of opportunities to share their voice in terms of inquiry topics of high interest, issues in their communities, current events, relevance and impact to themselves, family & wider community 💯 I am like you Sina (and I hope your positive outlook on the topic chosen will also impact your entire class) Rm 2 are super excited for our term 3 topics and the opportunity for new learning that we can share with our peers and families 💯 Can I suggest as a head start Sina ask your family what they know about Law and Order as a starting point - involve them and get that real life point of view 👍🏼 Keep up the awesome blogging Sina and I hope you are enjoying the school holidays - can't wait to read your next blog 😎

    1. Hi Mrs Haioti, Thank you for all the feedback you've given me. Once we found out that our topic for Term 3 was "Law & Order", We were kinda thinking about Law and Order in a different POV and never really thought that we could learn about the Topic's my class wanted to. With all the feedback, You've connected Law and Order to other Topic's for example - About BLM and that they strongly have a connection, or What kinds of Law's were their during the Dawn Raids which really engaged me to learn about Law & Order. At the last day of school we were thinking of Topic's that connect to Law & Order and one of them were about Flags or Continents around the world. I will be asking my family What they know about Law & Order or What they have experienced between Law & Order. Have a nice day!
